Elysium
A place of perfect harmony
As the sun sets on Burntside Lake, reflecting off the few clouds moving in the calming breeze, the sky and silhouetted islands become a beautiful radiance of color. The water is like glass mirroring the full moon rising. As darkness settles the moon takes over this beautiful scene along with the sounds of silence and calling loons. I sit motionless, canoe paddle across my lap, taking in the solitude. Humbled.
