I moved from Little Canada, MN to Kenyon, MN for a period of six years. I moved back because it was too quiet for me.
One of the things I enjoyed was driving ten miles to West Concord,MN to have lunch or dinner at Ginny’s Drive-In. The food was as good as having pizza at Red’s Savoy Pizza in St. Paul.
I’d drive there in one of my classic hotrods on a nice day. Ginny was always happy to see her customers and friends stop by. Genuinely happy to talk and hang out with everyone.
I never imagined a small town could have such a great place to eat, have an atmosphere of welcoming you back, and such good food.
And the car shows were so fun, folks came from great distances. I drove there from Colorado to be at one of the shows.
Ginny’s was Americana personified. You always knew you’d enjoy your experience at an unassuming , friendly Drive-In.
I live a great distance from there, but I still make the journey each year.
For me personally, Ginny’s reminds me of a Norman Rockwell painting. Thank you
