I started volunteering as a tour guide at Glensheen Mansion when I was an undergraduate student at the University of Minnesota Duluth. I fell in love with the beauty of the house, the grounds, and the lake. I loved sharing it with the guests who visited. By my senior year, I was an employee and knew this was the field I wanted to work in for my career.
