Palace Theater

My first visit to this theater was around 1982, when The Elephant Man was playing – at the time it was known as the Orpheum, and was one of the last of the old school theaters open in dowtown St. Paul. Years later, when it reopened as The Palace Theater, it became a great venue for concerts. My favorite show there so far was Pixies, the alt rock band. I was so glad to see that they left flourishes of the old walls and decorations during the renovation, which helped it to keep its old St Paul charm.
