On Valentine’s Day, 1918, my grandfather Robert West and grandmother Lenora Denzine were married at the Palmer House in Sauk Centre MN.
Just a few weeks later he was on a train to basic training, and within a few months he was onboard a ship taking him to fight with the AEF in France.
